Client Description:

A dynamic company - well established and number one in the market share - our client provides antenna and power products for wireless technologies across the globe.

We’re seeking a Senior level RF Design Engineer to bring their ‘hands on’ experience with hardware development - an individual contributor - to work with and enhance the design team.

Responsibilities Will Include:

Some specific tasks are as follows: the RF Product Design Engineer will
.. fabricate and test new antenna designs for use in cell phones, land mobile radios (LMRs), and other wireless devices.
.. conduct electrical tests such as VSWR, near and far field gain measurements, and specific *absorption rate (SAR) tests to characterize antenna performance.
.. compose written reports documenting all project activity, prepare and deliver technical presentations to groups both large and small, as well as write research papers and patent applications.
.. work as part of a design team to develop new products, providing support and assistance to the team as needed as well as providing them updates on project status and technological changes.

Requirements:

·BSEE
·Design experience from concept through production within a manufacturing setting- 3-5 years minimum
·Designing, testing & building antennas and/or associated components (amplifiers, filters, beam former networks)
·Experience with the prototype process, the testing process - test equipment and test methodologies and procedures.
·Ability to thrive in a fast paced and high tech environment.
·Close attention to detail and ability to work with others as part of a design team
·Good oral and written communication skills as well as MS Office computer skills, programming skills and analytical software experience a plus
·Some travel may be required.
·US Citizen or Green Card
·Ability to relocate to the Mid-West with relocation assistance for the right candidate
