Our client is a well-known, technical leader in the manufacture of interconnect components - including RF coaxial connectors and cable assemblies - with a leading edge, patented technology that serves the defense, medical, automotive, and telecom markets.
Responsibilities
Will Include:
The Field Applications Engineer will support the Central Region Manager who along with managing a Million+ 8-state region is tasked with capturing more of Motorola’s connector business. With superior technical understanding of RF connectors, the FAE will concentrate their efforts on providing expertise to the Motorola account. Working with internal teams – sales, marketing, and design – the FAE will supply the necessary feedback for improvement in product design and pricing.
This technical position requires interfacing directly with Motorola and for the right candidate could grow into a global responsibility for the account.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer currently within Motorola to develop career expansion into the service area or for an engineer with a company currently providing products to Motorola who wants to venture out into new responsibilities. The position will give the right engineer an opportunity to have direct customer contact and apply creativity to new product introduction along with providing an opportunity for this client to further its global business with Motorola.
Requirements:
BSEE preferred, will consider degree in related technical field-
4-7 yrs work experience in the interconnect field, RF interconnects &/or related hardware products-
Experience with Motorola, their products, and where RF connectors are necessary-
Candidates must have direct knowledge of connectors, cables, cable assemblies & accessories-
Good communication skills and an ability to sell are key assets for top candidates.
Familiarity with the Central Region of the USA a plus. (i.e. IL, WI, MN, OH, MI, KY, W. PA)
