Client Description:

Our client - a world leader in infrastructure hardware for wireless communications – maintains quality of both product and service. Customer satisfaction requires receiving quality product on time - whether it is end users, OEMs, or distribution houses, our client’s product has to get to the customers on time; a process that requires an adept manager skilled in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities Will Include:

As Manager of Customer Service you will be responsible for the managing the North American distribution channel and their contracts as well as directing the internal customer service group. Direct and distribution sales will be tracked, managed and assured of fulfillment.

We’re looking for solid experience - within an electronics manufacturing setting - of at least five years in Customer Service with a proven ability to build and nurture executive relationships, handling negotiations with confidence and success. Knowledge and understanding of the passive electronic components is highly favorable in a top candidate.

Some tasks and responsibilities are as follows:

- Manage customer contracts and annual agreements.
- Define & manage the maintenance of customer service metrics, recommending changes as required to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop and manage pricing strategies for selected distributors.
- Set objectives for and oversee internal Customer Service Groups.
- Resolve customer satisfaction issues.
- Work with internal engineering team to understand product applications as they relate to customers.
- Coordinate with internal sales and purchasing teams to assure on time delivery.
- Travel to customer and distribution locations as needed to support regional sales teams and resellers.
- Provide feedback to allow for maximum capture rates and pricing consistency.

Requirements:

- A four-year degree is required.
- Proven ability to manage and develop ERP systems for sales, BaaN or SAP preferred.
- Negotiation skills and familiarity with contracts is required.
- Have solid experience with electronics manufacturing.
- The ability to travel up to 40%.
- Excellent skills in Excel and Word (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, articulate) and the ability to present to groups.
- The ability to respond well under pressure and prioritize in a fast-paced office environment
