Client Description:

Are you a top sales person familiar with wireless hardware and RF communications systems whose career is ready to take on a more strategic management responsibility?

With a product knowledge of electronic radios, short-range transceivers and related wireless hardware, and proven skills in identifying customers’ unique wireless communication needs, the manager in this role will organize a complete national sales team capable of moving OEM customers from transactional relationships to the fuller product range of this nearly billion dollar global corporation.

Responsibilities Will Include:

Earmarks for a successful candidate will be a track record of selling a broad wireless hardware product line and of leadership in strategically developing the team’s sales approaches, planning, and execution.

Understanding sales channels, experience in management of field sales, familiarity with matrix products and management interaction, and the ability to present alternatives and close on decisions will highlight the experience and personality of short list candidates.

This sales director will be charged with coordinating and leading the group’s sales across many business segments; monitoring and analyzing the sales activities against goals; identify, initiate, negotiate, and close complex sales with corporate customers; prioritize high growth and high opportunity customers; and directly contribute strategically on a corporate level to areas of new services, products, positioning, pricing and promotional strategies that may also involve other business and product segments of the corporation.

The successful manager in this role will be able to further expand opportunities that will use the company’s proprietary technology, testing strength, and application knowledge and offer cost effective RF communications technology to a diverse customer base that is in search of reliable communications alternatives.

This position is headquartered out of the Kansas City area and requires extensive travel. Compensation will include an industry competitive base and an open bonus plan.

Requirements:

Sales experience… 5 yrs senior selling responsibility, account management & sales channels

Leadership skills… people development with clear direction and motivation.

Relationship building skills… develop true OEM customers (fuller relationships- not transactional)

RF Product experience… have the technical savvy to sell a variety of RF components and wireless systems.

The ability… to close on decisions, accelerate the sales team and add value the customer’s purchase.

Technology:

RF products, components and systems.

Education:

4 year degree

Salary Range :

to 150,000 + package
